Joseph Ryland found guilty on an indictment for the highway robbery of Abigail Cooke in the parish of Croydon on 17th October 1763: robbing her of a purse (valued at 1d) and 5/- in money numbered.  Said to have been executed but not mentioned in newspapers with Quilt and Madox.
